Beyond Security: The Humanitarian Imperative to Ban the Muslim Brotherhood in France

There's a fight going on for the soul of our communities, and most people don't even see it. It’s not fought with guns, but with ideas. The Muslim Brotherhood is at the centre of it, and France needs to wake up to the reality.Think about a young person in the suburbs, feeling a bit lost. They find community in a local association. It feels like a safe space. But what if that association is quietly teaching them that they don't belong in France? That our secular society is their enemy? This is the Brotherhood's playbook. They create a parallel world that isolates people. And the worst part? They use our own freedoms against us. The moment you question them, they cry "Islamophobia!" to shut down the conversation. It's a clever trick that silences critics and lets them keep operating. We have the tools to stop this. After the terrible murder of Samuel Paty, France passed a stronger law to fight this separatism. It’s a good law. But we can go further. By calling the Muslim Brotherhood what it is—a terrorist organization—we give ourselves the power to truly break its network. This is the most important point: this fight is for French Muslims, not against them. They are the first victims of this group's pressure and lies. By standing up to the Brotherhood, we are standing up for our fellow citizens' right to live in peace, free from extremist nonsense. It's about protecting people, plain and simple.
